Meet Our Staff

Cheryl Gallinger

As co-founder and principal designer for Gallinger Trauner Designs, I am as passionate today about interior design as I was the day I left college. Whether working with a client on a cozy log cabin in the woods, a fishing lodge, a restaurant, a working ranch, a concert hall or a grand home overlooking the Snake River and the Teton Range, my heart still skips a beat as my creative juices start to flow. We at Gallinger Trauner go overboard to provide impeccable service – we specialize in listening to our clients and working with them to make their dreams a reality. When a client and I are in harmony, there’s no limit to the excitement and satisfaction it creates!

I am an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). I was educated, and graduated from Stephens College of Fine Arts and then took classes at Montana State University. Gallinger Trauner Designs, with a blue chip client list, is the culmination of my life’s work and passion.

I look forward to working with you to bring your dreams to fruition.

Terry Trauner

As co-founder of Gallinger Trauner Designs, I am excited to use my business, financial and organizational expertise for one overriding purpose – to ensure that our clients receive the superior service, care and attention they deserve. Much of my work goes on behind the scenes – working with staff, vendors, suppliers, freight companies, bankers and others to make sure that our designers and clients have everything they need to turn vision into reality. We here at GTD recognize that success in our field comes down to both great vision and impeccable service.

Prior to co-founding GTD, I gained valuable experience helping to run organizations as diverse as the Grand Teton Music Festival, a California-based real estate development firm and my own Custom Sewing business. I pursued my higher education at UCLA. When I am not working on behalf of our clients, I am climbing a mountain with my husband, Gary and our two boys Benjamin and Aaron.

Adrienne Lane, Allied ASID Member
Bachelor of Fine Arts, Interior Design, Iowa State University 2005

I have enjoyed being a designer at GTD since August 2005, my first job since graduating from Iowa State with a BFA in Interior Design. I take pride in working as an interior designer, something I’ve wanted to do since the 6th grade. I feel as though I am able to live out my passion each and every day while being challenged with every project, even ordinary office activities. Work always seems to be eventful, giving me the opportunities to share funny stories with my family and friends who live all over the country. I am working toward becoming LEED AP; I am very interested in anything that involves green design. When not designing, which I do even in my sleep, I am reading, doing something creative like sewing or traveling; I have lived abroad in Rome as well as many states across the U.S. as a military brat. But after all the places I’ve lived, my animals, Mitch and Grady, and I love the Jackson and Victor area the most!

Lynda Skujins
Associate in Arts Degree, Interior Design Technology, Bellevue Community College 1989

I bring 18 years of experience to GTD in interior design and construction management. I relocated from the Seattle area to the Jackson area just over a year ago.

I’ve been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) since 1997 and an Accredited Staging Professional since 2006. After graduating from Bellevue Community College, in Bellevue, WA, I taught interior design at the college for several years.

I am an excellent communicator, able to translate my client’s needs into plans that deliver sound decisions and beautiful interiors.

Joining the Gallinger Trauner team has been a highlight in my life. “The team” is great to work with!

In my off time from designing, I spend it cooking, skiing, and bicycling with my husband. I always look forward to several weeks during the summer when my son and his family visit from Seattle.

KRISTIN FRAPPART, Allied ASID

I have had the wonderful opportunity of being born and raised in Jackson Hole, spending most of my earlier years on the ski slopes or on the waters of Jackson Lake. My interest in design both Interior and Fashion design started during my years in High School, and helped me to choose my path of higher education. After graduating from college, I gained some very valuable experience and knowledge working for a firm in Scottsdale Arizona. After three years of city life, I decided it was time to come back home to my family and the surroundings I love so much.

Interior Design is truly my ambition and passion. I especially enjoy working and building a relationship with my clients. To take their ideas, and create a unique living or working environment tailored to their needs and wants, see their projects from the very beginning to the last touch put in its place is a great experience.

When I am not at work I am usually skiing, water skiing, camping, riding my beach cruiser and just enjoying our great outdoors.
